Lydia McDonald

Lydia graduated in 2012 having studied Theatre Costume Interpretation at Edinburgh College. Her first role was as Costume Designer and Maker for a new Edinburgh based improvised comedy called ‘Transylvanian Nights’. She followed that by working on several pantomimes including ‘Puss in Boots’ at the Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh and ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy.

In May this year she made her first visit to Exeter where she worked at the Northcott Theatre, both as dresser on Birmingham Rep and Nottingham playhouse’s co-production of ‘I Was A Rat’ then as Wardrobe Assistant on several exciting shows.

Most recently she has worked as Costume Supervisor on the UK premier of ‘Leading Ladies’ by Ken Ludwig at Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells.
